But if you want to reduce your carbon footprint, you first need to know how big it is. That's why we decided to certify our corporate carbon footprint in accordance with ISO 14064-1 in 2021. This is now compiled and certified annually to document our progress. With Steelgreen® from Frankstahl, we are now taking the next step: Steelgreen® calculates the CO2eq footprint of each individual order in real time and presents it transparently and comprehensibly.

From the extraction of raw materials to steel production and delivery - the Steelgreen® algorithm records the CO2eq value of almost all of the products we sell so that we can show this as early as the quotation and order confirmation stage. In this way, Steelgreen® helps our customers to keep an eye on the CO2eq footprint of their orders at all times. This is unique in the entire industry and sets new standards.

The Steelgreen® algorithm has been tested by TÜV Austria and certified in accordance with ISO 14067. Every customer receives a certificate from us with their delivery, which accurately depicts and confirms the CO2eq footprint of the entire delivery.
